CoMoUK is the leading collective voice for integrated mobility. Momentum and CoMoUK both champion greener and fairer transport for everyone and we look forward to working together to bring forward solutions, strategies and designs that will benefit all stakeholders.
As an integrated consultancy spanning across transport planning, engineering, insight and analytics, we work together to address the needs of the future city. We recognise that the need for mode shift in transport and as such strive to design solutions that account for these shifts, be that through public realm and street design, movement strategies or transport modelling. Above all, we make sure that our transport solutions integrate with the built environment today and for the future by recognising environmental, societal and technological changes that might influence travel behaviours. We believe that mobility hubs will play a key part in both responding to and influencing future travel.
A key opportunity for shared transport and mobility hubs lies in extending the catchment area of each public transport stop by using shared bikes, e-bikes or (where legal, in trial schemes) e-scooters or cars, allowing an easily accessed and well-utilised public transport network. It is important to ensure however that, particularly in larger cities, these services are complementary.
